Land of Opportunities

Today we were analyzing a case study regarding to Royson Ng, a Malaysian president of Samtack, a multi-million dollar computer manufacturing company in Canada and how he started his career as a petrol attendant. The argument ended with the instructor's comment : "As you can see, Canada is the land of opportunities".
So if that's the norm to call a country a land of opportunity, then I guess Iran should be called the  heaven of opportunities. Two of the presidents started from being a sweeper, the ex-supreme leader was a poet and the minister of interior's was in prison during the previous regime not as a revolutionist but as a local sexual predator in a town! Now that's a good example of diversity ;)

When a gamble goes wrong !

When a gamble goes wrong
Music & Lyric : Sina Khosravi

It looked like a gamble,
And I tell you it aint easy
Not a weekend in casino,
Or a treat you take for wasting

Buildings don’t look familiar,
Neither do the eyes
And the memory of a neighborhood,
That flies,

There you fly, and you leave me behind
With a broken ego, and the stranger eyes
There you fly, and you leave me with the hands,
That point at you, but they never count

Years will pass and I can’t recall,
Where I left my dreams behind
Sometimes takes a lifetime to know,
The bet is on a wrong card

I tried to build a home around,
Where I can expect open arms
I found the soil, I found the ground,
But buried my dreams under the mound

There you fly, and you leave me behind,
With a broken ego, and the stranger eyes
There you fly, and you leave me with the hands,
That point at you, but they never count

From Ramsar to B.C. !

I can't believe those who live in B.C. show off their luxury lifestyle  in Victoria Island or Vancouver while they can wake up with the view of Whistler and Blackcomb on the window and walk in the twilight mist. The beauty of the nature reminded me the rain forests of Shomal before being cut down, and the crazy memories I carved in the back of my head of the times  me and Golshid used to walk from the shores of Caspian sea to Hotel Raamsar. and  grumblings of my dad for not helping him with Kabab and simple life of my childhood !
